I’m a member of Julia Kay’s Portrait Party, a very active flickr group. Here is my latest finished portrait of one of the members, Elena. To see other interpretations & the reference photo, go here. Sadly it feels like the iphone art (which is great in itself, don’t mistake me) is starting to dominate the group. I prefer artworks on paper, after years of doing pixel art. The portrait is on A3 watercolor paper using watercolor and chalk. Quite dramatic, I like it.
